Birthday Blunders

…And I’m back! It’s a bit late in the day but I have to ask: How was your weekend? Ours was filled with sniffles and sneezes (me) and birthday wishes and kisses (Roman). Poor kid. I was sick in bed all weekend and forgot to order his 7th birthday cake. It was so kind of Michael to wiggle me out of a tough spot by shouting: “I can’t believe the bakery didn’t have your cake ready. We’ll pick it up first thing tomorrow!” And we did. I’m so happy we bought his gift weeks ago or we’d really suck! How about you? Would you like to confess a birthday blunder? Share. It’s our little secret:)

  6. You were SICK!! It is totally forgivable! Luckily, I don’t have many birthdays to remember, or I would be in serious trouble.

  8. I won’t tell your secret. You’re secret is safe with me.

I have one. I can’t remember the exact day of my friend’s birthday. I knew him since highschool! I know when it falls on, I just can’t remember he exact date. I now got it written down and a reminder set up so I won’t fail again.

  9. I think we’ve all made blunders concerning our kids bday. Kudos to you for admitting, and recovering from the blunder.. Thanks for being candid and showing your human side. Sometimes, our bodies just shut down!! Important thing is your child still celebrated even with the glitches. Nice post!
