(Email) I Quit!

When this post popped into my inbox – I paused after reading it. I wondered aloud: “Can I just quit my email?” For a fleeting moment the thought sounded blissful; but then reality hit. I can’t. The thought of someone waiting anxiously for my response and not receiving it – is just too much pressure. My (unproven) theory: Email is our punishment for advancing beyond the sticky note.
How about you? Do you think you could “quit” your email?

Nope. Don’t think so, even though I am getting overwhelmed by all the “crap” emails that come in and the thought of opening each one to “unsubscribe” just doesn’t sound like something I have time for. So I just “delete” and move forward.
**shivers at the thought** Sadly, I don’t think I could. Email and I have broken up a time or two in the past, then there was that nasty little fight that hubby and I with Verizon that kept our home network down for almost 24 hrs, but to WILLINGLY give it all up? Nope, I don’t wanna and you can’t make me! *lol*
