Do you remember the self-lacing shoes Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) wore in Back to the Future II? Nike is auctioning their own limited-run version on eBay, with proceeds to benefit Parkinson’s research. My eldest son, Tyler, would love to own a pair. It’s very unlikely he will though. The first pair of 2011 Nike Air Mags auctioned off for well over thirty-seven thousand dollars. Wowzer!

@blueviolet, They aren’t self-lacing, but they do light up. With the bidding starting in the thousands, my son will have to admire them from afar:)
