Anthony Ryan Auld Project Runway Season9

Last night I watched the season premiere of Project Runway Season 9. Let me start by saying – it was so good! So, so much talent. It’s going to be a fierce design battle until the very end!

The first challenge was a bit of a shocker. Can you imagine creating a design from your sleepwear? That you’re currently wearing? I channel Rachel Zoe when I say “I Die!”

Of course, I’m team Anthony Ryan Auld. (Go Anthony! Bring it on home to the boot!) Anthony’s a cancer survivor, and colorblind. Wow! In my unbiased opinion – his designs scream WINNER!:) He’s an example of why we should never give up on our dreams.

This season I’m prepared for hot drama, hot fashion, and of course, model stealing!

Did you watch? Who’s your favorite designer?

Edited To Add: Do I live under a rock or what? I was lurking around the web when I found a fabulous blog – Blogging Project Runway. I love it!

  1. I enjoyed it too. Dont know who I am rooting for yet, I may have to give a couple more weeks for that. Glad they got rid of that Models of the Runway show. I couldn’t get into that one.

@K. Rock, How did I miss Models of the Runway? I wouldn’t have watched. Love Tyra – but I’ve never been much of a fan of ATM.

  2. I decided it was time for me to watch something else besides CNBC..I’m committed to watching all of season 9! No favorite yet, but I’m loving the diverse lineup of contestants. I was happy for the older guy who won the first challenge.

  3. Loved it!! I haven’t watched since season 5 or 6, but I’m happy that I started back up this year. I’m so with you – the horrors of turning my sleeping attire into a runway garment! *lol* I would have like Rafeal’s “character” to stay around a little longer, but I haven’t gotten to know any of them well enough to have real feelings. =) On demand is DA BEST!!

@MrsTDJ, I feel bad for Rafeal… but what about the girl who postponed her wedding, and was sent home before they even got the keys to their rooms!? *dramatic wallslide* then *twirls* and *faints*

  4. Admittedly, I skip watching all the drama. I’m only interested in seeing who comes out the victor.

  5. I wouldn’t have much to work with if I had to use my pajamas. I’d be like, “Send me home please!” I think they’ve done this challenge before. If the contestants were smart, they’d sleep in a lot more.

I think I’m going to love this season.
